Saturday, I hosted a "Girls Movie Night Out"! It was great! My guests and I made it a point to view "He's just not that into you". My lady friends were women of all ages, from 24 to 65 years of age. I, personally, thought the movie was good. Some of my guests enjoyed the movie and some didn't. After the movie, we headed to a universal bistro for a late dinner and drinks. As we gathered around the table we all gave our opinions of the male mind and the movie. It was so insightful. I read the book so I had a little preview of what the message was going to be in this movie. The point of the movie was to let women know that you should value yourself and TAKE NO EXCUSES, BECAUSE YOU'RE WORTH MORE. ITS NOT AND SHOULDN'T BE ABOUT HIM.
Here's my advice to you in regards to this movie:
Don't let this movie intimidate you! Its just a movie! We all have insecurities and although the movie may touch the issues in so many people's lives, you do have a mind of your own. If you don't want to see the movie because you're scared the movie might ring some truth, then you've got trouble in paradise. So try the movie or don't, but either way you should be honest with yourself.
