I decided to choose this pic to post on my blog. This pic was taken last year around this time. My stister, Morgan, and I made a trip to the Bay Area to visit with longtime friends Sarah (far left) and Tenia (far right). Tenia, Sarah, and I grew up running track and field together. I met Sarah at the age of 12 when she joined our track club and I met Tenia as a local competitor. Eventually we all ended up on the same club track team, which led to us all going to the same high school to build the ultimate high school female track team. So we have seen some Junior Olympics, CCS, and other championship track and field meets together...great times! Sarah and I always laugh about how none of us continued on to run college track after over 10 years of competing...lol! I think it was just time for everyone to move on and discover other interests. There are just some things we have to let go in order to find other buried treasures. ;~)
