So what makes me believe Britney is the true "pop icon"?
Well, true pop icons are celebrities from a young age all the way through adulthood. People always seem to have an interest in them. For example, Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson, Madonna, and a couple others are celebrities that people always care to follow. Its like an endless love. We love them through thick and thin! Literally and figuratively.
Anywho, back to Britney. I thought the documentary was one of the greatest comeback statements of all time. I thought it was done right! It made everyone take a step back. It was soft, intimate, personable and realistic. It was just enough, without airing all her dirty laundry. If we all knew everything we have to stop wondering and the tabloid industry would have a high unemployment rate. LOL!!! Seriously!
Whats the point? I like Britney Spears. She's not perfect and neither is any other 27 year old woman on this earth. Personally, I think she has a few lasting bumps and bruises, but that's what makes her like the woman sitting next to you, and the woman sitting next to her. I think I like her a little better than a few pop divas I have been supporting for years. Hold on to your grammy's ladies!!!!
I bought the "Blackout" CD and I LOVE IT!!! Will I buy her "Circus" CD, due out tomorrow? YES!
"It's Britney, bitch!" said Britney.
LOL!!!!
