Kathy Cox, winner of "Are you smarter than a 5th grader", took home $1 million after supposedly proving she was smarter than a 5th grader. Mrs. Cox took her winnings and gave them to charity. Awww...how nice! At that time she felt she didn't need the money, because she "banked" on her husband's construction business to give them a million dollar income. Wow! Now that's a true believer!
So, did her hubby's business take off?
Well, due to the current economic crisis, her husband's business didn't even get a chance rev its engine, let alone take off. They are now declaring bankruptcy.
My response? She should send George B. and his posse a thank you card. Oh...and does that prove she's smarter than a 5th grader? Ehh, to each her own! Whatev! Sorry Kathy :-(
