So Noodle and I were sitting on the couch watching TV. He was holding my hand up to his face and he was seriously focusing on my finger tips. He begins looking confused as he is discovering the whole acrylic nail look. Now, he likes acrylic nails, but I don't think he's ever gotten up close and personal with them. So he gets my attention and says, "I think you need to close these spaces." So he's saying this with a confused and concerned look on his face, and he's squeezing his pointer and thumb together to emphasize the "spaces". So all I could do was laugh hysterically. I thought it was the cutest thing ever, because he was sooooo serious! My bff laughs at that comment to this very day. I did respond to him letting him know that I needed a fill and the name for it is technically refill, but a nail shop junkies calls it a "fill". He still tends to call it "spaces", but I think he's moved on to the word "gaps" now. I TRY! LOL!!!
