This Summer the Olympic games have brought about so many memories. I ran track from age 11 until I was 18...year after year....no break...literally! I ran indoor and outdoor track. I competed in all high school CCS meets and I competed in a couple of Junior Olympics before entering high school. Ever since the olympics have started Noodle is constantly asking my parents about my track days. My dad keeps annoyingly saying, "This was supposed to be the Olympics Courtnee was going to be in." Noodle continues to laugh at my parents lost dreams. He even goes so far as to purposely type my name in Google and look at all my times and events. That's it! I was going to show him my video library of all Junior Olympics and CCS pics. They are officially staying in the vault.

Suprisingly enough, I don't miss it at all. But as pay back, sometimes I walk around with a Beijing '08 t-shirt and one of my medals from my Junior Olympics. There's never a dry eye in the house.
