I believe every woman should have the perfectly fitted white tee and classic blue jean. You can literally dress it up or dress it down.
The famous white tee:
When it comes to the classic white tee there are so many cuts you can choose from. The cuts range from v-neck, scoop neck, crew neck, etc. The classic blue jean lends its hand in several ways, we all know that. Wear what ever jean you have as long as its clean and fits properly. When wearing the white tee, you don't want it too snug. You can afford to let it gather just a little at the waist. The less snug...the more comfortable you'll be. You can purchase a fitted white tee just about anywhere...Walmart, Target, Forever 21, New York & Co, etc. They are extremely affordable...from $5 to $30. I love this look so I tend to spend about $25 to $30 on one. I currently purchase mine at Brass Plum in Nordstroms department store. The fit is perfect for my body typre, particularly my bust and torso. There shirts tend to be a little long in the torso which fits me perfectly because I am tall (5'7). But buy what you can and make it work for you.

Accessorize:
The key to making this look work is all about accessorizing. I am a simple dresser. I don't tend to over accessorize. I personally don't wear chunky jewelry, especially necklaces. I've always been into dainty pieces. However, everyone has different style likings. Once you have the white tee and blue jean, utilize some type of accessory around the neck area. For example, like J. Aniston, I like to sometimes wear a teal, brown, or black scarf. I typically do this in the winter, but it seems to work for some people in the summer. You can also wear a long beaded necklace, a small cross, a jade stone, and just about anything that suits you. Its all about making yourself feel good in what you wear. If you want to dress it up throw on some wrist jewelry, a cute belt, and cute earrings. As far as shoes, I like to wear flats. I always wear a gladiator sandal or closed toe flat. If I'm going out, I'll wear a wedge heal or another type of open toed heal.
One last thing:
If you aren't too fond of the the fitted white tee, then try a white blouse or even creme blouse. Or if its a little too plain for you, then add a lightweight jacket or sweater, maybe even a vest! The idea is to create different looks with two simple and inexpensive items.
The MEN we love:
I haven't forgotten about you. Please try this style out as well. Make sure the white tee and jeans fits appropriatly. Remember if the jeans and/or the white tee are too big the look will become sloppy and slouchy. The idea is create a fresh and crisp style that fits you. Do like Jay and add a nice leather jacket at night or track jacket during the day.
One of my fav ingredients!
